CRETE, Neb. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team was back in action after more than a month away from competition with a 7-0 loss at Doane University on Saturday.
The Tigers jumped in front from the start, winning the three doubles matches by the scores of 6-0, 6-4 and 6-3.
In singles play, Doane scored straight sets wins in each match on the way to the overall win.
MLC fell to 0-4 in defeat. Doane improved to 5-3 with the win.
The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, March 23, when they play UW-Stout in a match at Owatonna Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
