RESULTS
ST. PETER, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's track and field team prepared for next week's UMAC meet with its final tune-up on Saturday at Gustavus Adolphus College.Â
Micah Otto took home first place in the 400 Meter Hurdles with a time of 1:01.34, and added a seventh-place finish in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.57 in that events. Otto was joined in both events by
Seth Veers, who also had a strong day with a third place finish in the 400 Meter Hurdles, and took ninth place in the 110 Hurdles.Â
Caleb Foelske led the way in the throwing events, finishing first in the Javelin (42.59 meters), fifth in the Shot Put (13.74 meters) and 13th in the Hammer Throw (39.26 meters).
Zach Scheuerlein took third place in the Javelin with a throw of 42.59 meters), while Â
Zachary Gregorius took 10th in the Javelin and 15th in the Shot Put.
Elsewhere on the track,
Carson Oestreich took second in the 100 Meters with a time of 11.2, while Jonathan Holtz finished 12th in the 200 Meters.
Josiah Loersch (1:59.39) and
Nathan Pausma (2:00.12) finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 800 Meters, and were joined by
Micah Schibbelhut (13th) and
Luke Wegner (15th) in the top 15 in that deep event.
Camden Sulzle finished seventh in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase, while
Caleb Lash took home 15th in the 5000 Meters.
Eric Raasch finished eighth in the Long Jump with a jump of 6.09 meters.
Joseph Ehlke took eighth in the Triple Jump (11.99 meters) and 11th in the Long Jump (6.04 meters).Â
