St. Paul, MN - For the second consecutive week, MLC's
Micah Koschnitzke was voted UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week (October 20-26) announced on Tuesday. Koschnitzke was instrumental in the Knights' securing a 38-28 road victory at Westminster down in Central Missouri on Saturday. In the win, Koschnitzke went 5-for-5 from PAT attempts and had seven kickoffs for a total of 400 yards.
The senior's 20-yard field goal attempt put MLC up 3-0 in the second quarter and Koschnitzke also got it done at the linebacker spot, recording seven tackles for a second consecutive week, including one PBU.
MLC will look to extend its winning streak to three in a row when they host Northwestern this Saturday, November 1, at 1 p.m.
