Box Score Owatonna, MN - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team fell in a seven-point match to Northwestern (Iowa), an NAIA opponent at a neutral court in Owatonna on Saturday 7-0.

Britney Prahl (1-6, 2-6), Josephine Bieberitz (0-6, 2-6), and Emily Gronholz (2-6, 1-6) dropped their No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 singles matches, respectively. Meanwhile, Rebekah Schroeder gave her counterpart the toughest battle in her No. 6 singles game, losing in a third-set tiebreaker (5-7, 6-4, 0-1).

Despite the sweep, MLC (0-2) will look to regroup for their third match of the young season as they plan to play against Crown College on Friday, February 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the same location in Owatonna.
