Box Score New Ulm, MN - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team had its home and UMAC opening match of the season against UW-Superior on Saturday. The Knights took on one of the top teams in the UMAC, and the Yellowjackets proved their standing with a clean sweep of MLC 7-0.

After sweeping MLC in doubles, the Knights had trouble keeping up in singles play as UW-Superior's No. 1- No. 5 players won their contests decisively.

Abraham Schlomer challenged in his No. 6 singles match before the freshman eventually lost 3-6, 4-6.

MLC (0-7, 0-1) will face Buena Vista on the MLC tennis courts on Monday, April 14, at 3 p.m.
