St. Peter, MN - The MLC women's track and field team participated in the Gustie Twilight hosted by Gustavus on Wednesday and the Knights finished well in multiple events.
MLC earned three first-place finishes as
Jemimah Habben won the 1500m with a PR time of 5:07.65.
Emma Dorn placed first in the 400m hurdles with a PR mark of 1:08.65, while
Elena Brauer took first in the javelin, throwing a distance of 32.07 meters.
Brauer also earned second in the high jump, clearing the bar with a season-best mark of 1.50 meters and Dorn had a PR throw in the shot put that put her in fifth.
Elise Nolte also threw 10.87 meters, giving her fourth in the event.
The 4x200m relay team of
Mariah Schultz, Naomi Foley, Hannah Rodmyre, and
Macie VanDenHeuvel claimed second in their race, clocking in at 1:50.98.
Rodmyre and Foley would also get fourth in individual events as well, with Rodmyre taking it in the 100m hurdles (16.78 seconds), while Foley earned it in the 400m with a season-best time of 1:03.97.
MLC women's track and field will compete again next Wednesday, April 23, at the University of Minnesota at 3 p.m.
