St. Paul, MN - The MLC Indoor Track & Field teams competed in a meet at Macalester College today where the Knights went up against student-athletes from the D-II and D-III ranks.
Notable men's results
RJ. Perry continued to smash his previous records by once again setting the new men's Indoor shot put record of 15.58, which gave him fifth place out of 43 throwers. Meanwhile,
Isaiah Durkee tossed the weight a PR mark of 15.03 meters for eighth place as Perry took 12th (14.42m) in the event.
Jeremiah Stanton jumped 13.20 meters in the triple jump for a spot in fourth, while
Arthur Robinson came in fifth overall out of 63 runners in the 200m (23.19). Robinson also claimed ninth in the long jump with a mark of 6.26m. Senior
Micah Schibbelhut also took ninth in the pole vault (3.90 meters).
Notable women's results
Jemimah Habben was the top finisher for the Knights in the 3000m, placing fifth out of 30 runners with a time of 10:49.21. MLC had another strong finish from a long distance runner as
Sarah Felsing ran the 1 mile in 5:42.68 for 24th overall out of 60.
Elise Nolte earned a PR mark in the weight throw (13.37m), giving her fourth in the event. Nolte also took 13th out of 40 throwers in the shotput (10.88 meters), with
Madeline Romsdahl getting 17th (10.42m) and 18th in the weight throw (12.66m)
