St. Paul, MN - R.J. Perry continued his stellar season for the MLC Indoor Track and Field team by being named the UMAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week (2/9-2/15). Perry was one of four MLC student-athletes to win UMAC Athletes of the Week (Wilhelmina Wenz, Adam Loberger, Gideon Heins).

Perry placed first in the shot put (15.57 meters), beating out 30 throwers in the event. Perry also came in second in the weight throw (15.46 meters), which also had 30 throwers.

Perry was previously recognized with the achievement for the weeks of 1/12-1/18 and 1/19-1/25.
