St. Paul, MN - The UMAC Athletes of the Week were announced officially on Tuesday, and Samuel Plocher was named UMAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week (February 16-22).

In January, Plocher was voted UMAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week and now the junior earned it due to his accomplishments in the high jump and triple jump.

Plocher set a season-best mark in the High Jump at 2.02 meters, tying him for second in the event against tough competition. In the triple jump, Plocher reached 13.07 meters for fifth place.

The Knights Indoor Track and Field team will be in action this upcoming weekend, February 27-28, for the UMAC Indoor Championship hosted by UW-Superior.
