LOUISVILLE, Ky. - MLC softball was one of the top academic performing teams in NCAA DIII in 2026, according to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

The NFCA along with its title sponsor, Easton, announced its All-America scholar-athlete honors on Aug. 12. The Knights ranked 14th in DIII with their 3.71 team grade point average. They were one of just 66 teams across all collegiate divisions to achieve a 3.7 or higher.

In addition, 12 softball student-athletes received scholar-athlete awards.
