NEW ULM, Minn. - Martin Luther College is ready for its UMAC Women's Basketball Tournament semi-final game at UW-Superior tonight at 7:30 p.m.
The Knights are brimming with confidence after Monday's comeback win at Minnesota Morris, and now get to face the Yellowjackets, who finished the conference season undefeated at 16-0 on the way to the top seed in the tournament.Â
These two programs met twice this season, with UWS coming away victorious on both occasions.
In the first meeting (December 5), the Knights struggled through a terrible shooting slump (22.4 percent) in a 63-47 loss at home.
On January 22, the Yellowjackets were able to complete the season sweep with an 81-63 win. The Knights trailed by only one point at the half in game two, but were unable to keep up with UWS in the second half.Â
