WACONIA, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's golf team opened the 2021 season with a 3-2 defeat to Crown College in a match-play competition at Island View Golf Course.
The Knights scored their two points thanks to an 8-5 win by
Kyle Lindemann in number-one singles, and then a 7-3 win by
Micah Otto in their number-three match. Lindemann shot 79 overall, while Otto shot 80 on the day.
Outside of the top five players,
Paul Frick,
Ryan Boggs and
Luke Fix each won their matches.
