Martin Leads Men in Match with Bethany on Monday

Stillwater, MN - The Martin Luther College men's golf team battled Bethany Lutheran College on Monday at Indian Hills Country Club in Stillwater, MN. The five MLC players performed well in the match and had a team score of 356, but the Vikings' team score was 331.

Freshman John Martin led the Knights again with his 18-hole score of 84, shooting in the low 80's once again. Noah Walta had the next lowest score of the match, finishing in 89 strokes, while Paul Frick ended his day on the green with a score of 91.

Titus Doletzky was right behind Frick at 92 and Jordan Otto shot a 102.

The women's match was not counted as a competitive match due to the amount of players, but AC Iglesias shot the lowest total at 107. Olivia Klabunde followed Iglesias with a 109 and Brenna Moore finished in 122 strokes.

The Knights host the MLC Spring Invitational at the New Ulm Country Club on Thursday, April 25. The golfers will begin play around 10 a.m.
