Buffalo Lake, MN - The Martin Luther College men's golf team competed in their final regular season match of the fall season in the MLC Invitational on Saturday morning, where the Knights hosted the seven other schools in the UMAC.
The men finished in a tie for
fifth place with the Crown Polars and completed the 18-holes as a team in 313 strokes.
Sam Hansen was once again atop the Knights lineup, finishing in a tie for ninth place out of the 45 golfers in the competition. The sophomore shot a 74, while
Jordan Otto earned a spot in the top 15, coming in a tie at 14 with his score of 77
Paul Frick finished in a tie at 33, shooting an 83 and
Luke Latzke shot an 88 on the day.

The MLC women finished in
sixth place out of the seven UMAC schools in the match and shot a 415 as a team.
Olivia Klabunde continued her solid freshman season and finished in 94 strokes, which was good enough for a 12th-place tie out of 34 golfers.
Chloe Berg also shot under 100 and ended her day in 96 strokes at the 17th overall spot.
Abigail Schewe (112) and
AC Iglesias (113) finished right after each other at the 28th and 29th ranking respectively.

Up next for the MLC golf teams will be the UMAC Championships on October 5 and 6 at the Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, MN.
