Waconia, MN - The Martin Luther College men's golf team squared off against the Crown Polars on Tuesday afternoon for an 18-hole conference duel. The Polars came out victorious between the two teams and finished in
318 strokes, while the Knights team score was
327.
Adam Thomas from Crown had the lowest individual score of 73, but MLC's
Sam Hansen was right behind him in 2nd place, shooting a 74.Â
Jordan Otto and
John Martin had the next lowest scores for the Knights and both shot an 84, while
Paul Frick tied for sixth, shooting an 85.
On the women's side, Crown had a team score of
362, which edged out the Knights' team score of
453 strokes.
Kendall Clark led the individual ranks shooting a 79. The top MLC score came via
Olivia Klabunde, who scored a 105.
Chloe Berg was next in line for the Knights and finished in 110 strokes.
Abigail Schewe ended her day shooting a score of 116.
MLC golf will finish off their busy week in a duel against Bethany on Friday, September 29 and then will host the Martin Luther College Invitational on Saturday, September 30. The action will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and the Knights will go up against all UMAC schools in Oakdale, MN.
